Last month we were saddened by the news that American author, professor, feminist, and social activist belle hooks had passed away at the age of 69.
As we move into 2022, with a renewed focus on prevention thanks to Our Watch's updated Change the Story, we acknowledge the work of hooks in shaping our understanding of intersectional feminism and the prevention of all forms of violence.
