Who are you and what do you do at WAGEC?
I’m Rachel, a graduate from UTS Visual Communications, and I’ve been interning at WAGEC under their Creative Advocacy Lead helping design some assets for staff!
What is a personality trait, experience or attitude you bring to your work every day?
At home I’m rather introverted, and prefer to keep to myself – but to work I always bring excitement and positivity. This can often translate into my design creations through colour, layout and conceptual basis.
What is something you have learnt working at WAGEC?
At WAGEC I’ve learnt that if women truly support other women there is NO stopping us. Nothing can compare to a team constructed of encouraging women who seek to build each other up. The support is like none other!
What’s next for you?
I’m currently pursuing my career as a freelance designer and hoping to pave my way into the not-for-profit space. I’m determined to pursue design for social change and design for good!
