Bras N Things
Bras N Things is a personal apparel brand that is building a vibrant community of women from all walks of life. Bras N Things and WAGEC formed a partnership in late 2020 to work together toward ending gender-based violence. So far over 1000 Bras N Things and Hanes team members have completed customized training modules developed by WAGEC about gender-based violence, primary prevention, bystander intervention and healthy relationships. Over 500 women at WAGEC have received comfort packs provided by Bras N Things including PJs, undies, bras and socks, all while Bras N Things has been raising funds in store to support critical programs at WAGEC.
Stella Insurance
Stella Insurance is a purpose-driven insurance brand with one aim: to focus on levelling the playing field for women. WAGEC has been working with Stella Insurance since 2021 to drive social change for women. Stella Insurance partnered with Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) as they recognised a shared desire to empower women end working towards ending gender based violence in a generation.
By giving $5 from every new car insurance policy they sell, Stella Insurance is the primary sponsor WAGEC’s Material Donations Collective. This is an exciting This support helps to ensure that women in crisis receive essential items when they need them most, including things like toiletries and non-perishable food, which are donated by WAGEC’s generous community who are part of the Donations Collective. Pepper Money
Pepper Money is a non-bank lender that helps Australians achieve their financial dreams by providing flexible financial solutions that factor in the ups and downs of real life. Pepper and WAGEC have been working in partnership since 2019 to enable women and families to build safer futures. Pepper’s support has helped women build financial independence, enriched the development of children and young people and most recently matched donations in our flagship fundraiser Walk for WAGEC, doubling the community’s impact to help women and children walk away from violence. In addition to this critical funding, the WAGEC x Pepper partnership has a focus on practical and hands on support provided by Pepper employees through volunteer initiatives. Epoch Capital
Epoch Capital is an investment and trading company that has recently joined the WAGEC as a new partner in 2023.Epoch is providing multi-year funding to support the social, emotional and educational development of children living in WAGEC’s accommodation. Epoch will also be providing hands on support at our central support office and crisis refuges through volunteer working bee days and material donations drives.
