The Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program is to assist women 18+ years and their children residing in Georges River LGA. 

The program is designed to prevent women and children from heaving to leave their own home - and becoming homeless or having to move away from their support system of family and friends, and the school and community where they live.

Please note: SHLV is not suitable for clients who are homeless. Please refer to Specialist Homelessness Services to assist in these circumstances. 

SHLV provides a range of support, such as safety planning, improving home security, help in managing finances, support for children, support to make a police statement, and court support.

ACCESS is a free personalised mentoring program developed by WAGEC to support women with training, education and employment goals.

To be eligible to become an ACCESS mentee, clients must be over 18, based in Greater Sydney and identify as a woman or non-binary. 

1 in 3 mentees start a new job or work experience after completing the program!
